This information is not very wildly known to the general public, which is very unfortunate. You might have indigestion from time to time. you might feel bloated after eating a large meal, or you might experience constipation often, or you might have an irritating skin condition, that just doesn’t seem to go away.


these are just some of the problems you might be facing, that are a huge red alarm that you have problems with your gut.

you might be asking, what the heck is wrong with my gut?


first of all let me start by covering the basic information we need to understand before moving forward. our intestines (gut) is the last phase of digestion, where the food we eat goes and the nutrients gets absorbed into the blood stream.

what we don’t know however, is that inside the gut, we have a huge population of bacteria living, trillions upon trillions of bacteria, this population is known as the “gut flora” . their role is to digest (eat) the food, so we can absorb the remaining digested particles, they are supposed to live with us synergistically.

within this population of bacteria, we have good and bacteria. they are both essential to us in a specific ratio, as they both perform necessary jobs. the ideal ratio for us is to have the good bacteria in larger numbers than the bad, so as to keep the bad bacteria in check.

both kinds of bacteria feed on different things, the good bacteria grow and reproduce when they feed on prebiotics, which is fruits and vegetables… and the bad bacteria feeds mostly on sugar. so when you eat mostly sugar and unhealthy foods, the bad bacteria will start feeding, and reproducing until they overpower the good bacteria and take control of your gut. (it seems like a war zone, because it is 🙂 ) if that happens, they will wreak havoc in your body, you will have skin problems, you will have digestion problems, it will be very hard to digest foods, you will start having bad breath, bloating, mood swings, so many different things.

What do i need to know about the gut?


  • the gut houses more than 80% of your bodies immune system:
  • 95% of the bodies feel good neurotransmitter serotonin, can be found in the gut!
  • you have more micro organisms living in your gut, than you have cells in your body!
  • your gut arguably is the most important factor in determining your health.



how does the gut flora get imbalanced?


  • Eating sugar
  • drinking alcohol
  • taking antibiotics; they kill the good bacteria
  • high levels of stress



what are the signs that you have a gut flora imbalance? 


if the bad bacteria take over the following symptoms might happen:

  • constipation
  • bad breath
  • skin conditions; eczema, rashes, hives…
  • depression
  • leaky gut syndrome
  • low immunity
  • fungal infections
  • bloating
  • indigestion
  • fatigue
  • autoimmune diseases
  • very strong sugar and refined carbs cravings
  • allergies
  • weight gain

all of these are clear sign that you might have bad gut flora/ imbalance/ overgrowth in the bad bacteria. now the next logical step is to definitively test if you have this condition, there is a simple test that you can do at home to find out;


how do I test for bad bacteria / Candida overgrowth?

the easiest way to test is immediately upon waking up in the morning, before putting anything in your mouth. grab a glass of water, then muster a quarter sized saliva and spit into the glass of water. leave for 30 – 45 minutes.


after that time has passed come back and check the glass of water, if the saliva formed thread like formations (like legs) extending to the bottom of the glass, or cloudy and settle at the bottom, or even if they are like clouds suspended in the middle of the glass, then you definitely have candida overgrowth. if however the saliva stays floating cohesively at the top of the glass, then you’re candida free. while testing check the water every 15 minutes.


most probably in the western world (and now most of the world) the way we eat is priming our bodies for fungal and bacteria overgrowth. so I’m pretty sure more than half of the people are infected with this nasty condition.


the proof that many people have this condition, is the widespread growth of autoimmune diseases, and gastrointestinal problems. so many of the modern health condition have been proven to be a symptom of severe candida over growth. the reason is the advanced stages is that the bad bacteria will want to colonise the rest of the body, so how do they do that? well, they actually drill holes in our intestines!! imagine that! so after they do that your gut would literally start leaking, hense the leaky gut syndrome, and the candida is free to spread all around your body and organs causing all kinds of diseases and health crises! they might reach your liver, heart, spleen, stomach, or any organ. and you can imagine what kind of hell they can raise.

the leaky gut itself is a horrible condition to have, it takes a long time to heal, and its symptoms are extremely frustrating for patients.


How do you rectify this problem & return the gut flora back to normal?


Now we’re talking! you understand that you have candida, and you understand that it is something that has to be dealt with immediately and resolved forever, and you’re willing to put in the effort.


first of all we need to cut the food from the bad bacteria; that is stop drinking alcohol, stop sugar consumption of any form, and also stop artificial sweeteners and preservatives. this way they will start dying off.


now we need to add good bacteria into our gut, we do that by supplementing with probiotics, however unfortunately most of the probiotics on the market are completely useless, because they would be already dead, or they would die as soon as they reach the acids the stomach, that useless.


we need a probiotic that will reach the intestines and colonize, increasing the good bacteria.


after we increasing the good bacteria, we need to give our body the essential nutrients to heal, and remove the bad bacteria from the gut, we have to supplement with good multivitamin. and make sure you are getting all the minerals and vitamins.


please take a blood test to check the vitamins and minerals levels in your system, to see if you’re deficient in something.


then we will need to make sure we are properly eliminating these waste products (the dead bacteria, as well as the toxic waste they leave when they die off) normally this kind of detoxing will cause a die off effect where your symptoms will worsen before they get better, but push through it as its worth it.


make sure you’re drinking enough water.
